IMI Sensors Offers Electronic Vibration Switch Compliant to CTI's Updated Vibration Standard
May 28, 2015 DEPEW, NY – IMI Sensors, manufacturer of industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation, offers a variety of standard electronic and USB-programmable electronic vibration switches that meet the Cooling Technology Institute’s recently-updated Standard for Vibration Limits in Water Cooling Towers (Std-163).  Per the standard, CTI now stipulates that broadband vibration must be measured in velocity (in/s peak or rms), an ability that no mechanical vibration switch can offer. IMI Sensors Receives Patent for “Linear Adjust” Mechanical Vibration Switch
May 14, 2015 DEPEW, NY – IMI Sensors, a PCB Piezotronics Division and manufacturer of industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation, such as accelerometers, vibration transmitters, and switches announced the receipt of U.S. Patent No. 9,024,712 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on its 685A-Series “Linear Adjust” Mechanical Vibration Switch. The innovative “Linear Adjust” perpendicular magnet-mass design provides more precise sensitivity adjustments (approximately ¼ turn per g) and more consistent sensitivity over all three axes when compared to competitive models based on the parallel magnet-mass design.

PCB Granted Boeing Supplier Inspection Delegation Approval
Depew, NY, USA - January 28, 2015 - PCB Piezotronics, Inc., has been approved by Boeing Defense, Space & Security to participate in the Supplier Inspection Delegation (SID) Program.  Delegation approval will allow PCB® to inspect hardware, procured by Space and Intelligence Systems, removing the requirement for source inspection on purchase contracts.
